Resilience

Alan has delivered his ‘Resilience’ workshop to hundreds of businesses, sports organizations and schools around the world.

During this 60 minute session, Alan shares key lessons from his mental health journey, and why he became the first active athlete in Ireland’s Gaelic Football league to go public about experiencing depression. He also discusses how developing resilience in practical and strategic ways has helped him to live a happier and healthier life and to succeed in elite sports.

Alan is mental performance coach in elite sports, and has also been a successful head coach, elite athlete, and worked for Ireland’s largest players’ association, the Gaelic Players Association. In 2016 he published the best-selling memoir ‘The Best Is Yet To Come’.
